“And, the rain finally came.
But, not without a whirlwind, a dust devil of forebode!” — Tony Ochelebe II

There’s a deep lesson in here… I pray God grants us wisdom to see through it all.

#WisdomLivesHere 📍
First, the people have prayed for several months for the rain to come, then the rain came, but when it did, the people complained — it came with this and that and that and this 🤦‍♂️ (as it is of HUMANS).

Here’s the lesson:
When we prayed for the rain, did we expect it to come without the accompanying natural elements?

When you ask God for rain, be sure it would come with the thunder, lighting, whirlwind amongst other natural elements.

When you ask God for the blessings of a companion in marriage, you’re asking for sleepless nights, you’re asking for the stress and joy that comes with motherhood and the accompanying job of a baby sitter for your husband and his family.

When you ask God for a job, it comes with tasks, meeting up deadlines, late nights, over time without pay, constant improvements and all there is…

When you ask God for money, you’re taking the responsibility of caring for everyone around you with little or no access to the said monies…it is a huge responsibility you have to live with.

Many times I hear, “God, this isn’t what I prayed for naw, what kind of work is this? What kind of children are these, what kind of husband is this one now…Yada Yada Yada… Because when you asked for the rain, you didn’t remember all the other elements that comes with the rain.

Today, learn to direct your prayers and know all the possible angles and it’s accompanying blessings 😊.

Warm regards,
